SpekAI ("we", "our", "us") is a Chrome extension that uses AI to generate structured work tickets from text you select on the web. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
When you sign up, we collect your email address to create and manage your account. If you subscribe to the Pro plan, we also store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID. We do not store your payment card details — Stripe handles all payment processing directly.
When you use SpekAI to generate a ticket, the text you have highlighted on a web page is sent to our backend server and forwarded to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. We do not store the text you highlight or the tickets generated from it after the response is returned.
We track a count of tickets generated per account to enforce usage limits. This data includes only your user ID, the date, and the number of tickets generated. We do not track which pages you visit, what text you highlight, or any behavioral analytics.
When you connect Jira, Linear, GitHub, or Notion, you provide API tokens or credentials. These are stored locally in your browser's Chrome storage and are never sent to SpekAI servers. They are used only to make direct API calls from your browser to the respective service.
SpekAI relies on the following third-party services:
Third-party integrations (Jira, Linear, GitHub, Notion) are configured and authenticated entirely within your browser. SpekAI does not proxy, store, or have access to your credentials or data on these platforms.
Account data and usage counts are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. All communication between the extension and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Third-party integration tokens never leave your local Chrome storage.
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Usage data is stored on a per-day basis for rate limiting purposes. We do not retain the text you highlight or the tickets generated from it — these are processed in memory and discarded after the response is returned.
SpekAI does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not collect browsing history, behavioral data, or any information beyond what is described in this policy.

SpekAI is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the extension or by email. Your continued use of SpekAI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
